We’d like to welcome QA Consulting’s new Director of Quality and Regulatory, Laura Lakemeyer!
We’re excited to announce that Laura Lakemeyer is joining QA Consulting as our new Director of Quality and Regulatory. Laura brings over 20 years of experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, including 6 years as a consultant with QA Consulting, Inc.
Laura’s areas of expertise include all aspects of QMS development and implementation, quality audits, medical device sterilization, validation processes, regulatory and compliance management. She holds a degree in Microbiology from the University of Kansas and began her career working as a microbiologist in the pharmaceutical industry before advancing into leadership roles serving as a Quality Assurance Manager at Forest Pharmaceuticals, Ascension Orthopedics, and most recently as Vice President of Quality at Ensemble Orthopedics, Inc.
Her extensive knowledge of regulatory standards and her experience interacting with the FDA, DEA, OSHA, and Notified Bodies make her an invaluable asset in leading QA Consulting’s quality and regulatory efforts.
